Classes suitable for Beginners
1. Aerodynamic Yoga;
Recovery & Repair (Beginners+)
A more passive stretching class with the emphasis on reducing tension and breaking down scar tissue to release and increase the muscular energetic capacity. The Thursday session will also include a deep relaxation to re-balance the mind. Previously called Sports Recovery Yoga this class is suitable for everyone, including those who regularly practice sports.
2. Aerodynamic Yoga;
Target Practice (Beginners+)
An preparatory class suitable for beginners who would like to gain sufficient experience to join The Practice class. We examine and explore aspects of The Aerodynamic Yoga Practice including both Sun Salutations, breathing techniques, posture work and ‘The Add-Ons’ (the more challenging postures!) to prepare you for The Practice.
3. Core Yoga (Mixed Ability)
Suitable for both beginners and experienced yoga students as well as post natal yoga students and those suffering back pain as a result of a weak core. Focusing on postures and techniques that help to strengthen and lengthen the core muscles for increased pelvic stability.
4. The Back STR8 ( Beginners+)
The Back Straight session takes eight postures that focus on stretching, strengthening and stabilizing to activate posture awareness and restore health and vitality to the back.
I started attending The Back Straight Yoga classes with Heather as I have long had problems with my shoulders, which affects my neck and jaw and hoped the yoga class would help. Heather is very knowledgeable. Her friendly, inclusive teaching style encourages self awareness whilst ensuring postures are not just correct but energy efficient. Transferring the learning into my daily life is a challenge, but is already having positive results.

5. Aerodynamic Yoga; CircuIT Training
Interval Training yoga style! Blending breathing exercises with a short dynamic practice, alongside restorative posture work and meditation. a little bit of everything!
6. Restorative & Yoga Nidra with Jackie
This once a month (FGF) yoga class is suitable for all levels of yoga practitioners. Jackie’s mindful and knowledgeable approach to teaching will provide you with a calm, safe environment to really relax and restore body and mind.
7. Vinyasa Flow with McKenzie
A classic flow yoga style linking posture to breath in a seamless flow. Suitable for beginners to dynamic and flow style.
8. Pit Stop Sessions
YOGA: A 50 minute session booked at a time of your choice for anyone who is pushed for time and would like to save money! One price split between participants (max 6)
MEDITATION: A 30 minute session to help you train your mind to stand still and save energy! £24 maximum 8 participants.
